Embryonic Cells
They use the embryo cell for stem cells, this will be a good claim just because it has 2 different views from people. they extract the cell before it starts to grow into a human.

This link explains what embryonic stem cell is and what people think about it as well as the misconceptions people have about the procedure. It can go either way but really nothing is being harmed but at the same time people will think you are harming a human being due to the fact that it's an egg and can become life.

After brainstorming my ideas, I've decided on 2 claims i might be thinking of doing.
one of them would be how some people disagree with stem cell transplant and how babies are born only because they hold a vital "organism" that can cure cancer and help with other diseases. In my opinion, stem cell transplant is an amazing discovery but at the same time a baby shouldn't be born nor just used because of it.

2nd claim would be the pros to this procedure. babies aren't harmed in this process and they will save a life. It just has to do with the umbilical cord and that's when the baby is already out and from harms way. A person who's needing a stem cell transplant would be very pleased and happy to get it just because it's very rare to receive such a delicate cell

This is a picture i found, and it explains how the stem cell is received from the infant. It's a pretty amazing procedure, easy yet some people do not agree with it because it can go both ways. People shoulnd't create a "baby farm" just to get these cells but at the same time it can ssave someone's life. It can cure cancer, reproduce tissues, bones, almost anything because the stem cell is a universal thing. It can turn into anything and everything.

found a great resource! The transplant of a stem cell.

I found this website resource from the auraira library and it'll be super helpful for the research because it gives me a good indepth information as well as just information i wouldn't be able to find.

This is pretty much the background knowledge portion of the writing, informing the reader what i'm going to talk about.
I've had questions, thinking about my topic:
Why do some people have to put a baby through what they're going through, maybe it won't physically hurt them but some people just create a baby for the use that they can give another life.
My sister's keeper explains exactly what my question is asking, the "mom" in the movie and the "dad" has a baby in order to keep her sister alive because she has cancer. When the daughter finds out why she was born into this world, it upsets her and makes her feel useless.

i don't understand how some people can do that, it upsets me because a life shouldn't be used, it should be created because they want that person for a reason
I've decided to change my subject and i wanted to do research on cancer, especially with the stem cell treatment to people who need the cells that have cancer or needs to rebuild certain cells. I've been researching around and the question i want to ask is, Does stem cell treatment affect people and how far will they go in order to recieve it? People use a baby's umbillical cord for the stem cell treatment just because that holds something very important, stem cells, stem cells are able to reproduce into anything when it's in the human body.

blog #2
3 major academic fields

Disease:
  1. The field of physical sciences, biologists have a way to test out each disease and how they relate to the cures and medicine that goes into patients. In the medical world everything will be tested on and cures will be made.
  2. The field of social sciences, the psychology of the brain and how people will react and/or how they will deal with the fact that they have something inside of them that will make them really ill. psychology is the best way for this just because when going through something as tragic as this people go through alto, mentally and physically
  3. The field of medicine, pretty self explanatory, they will do research on the disease and apply it to people who do suffer from it. As well as studying why and when it happens to a human being.
